Your router control panel: what Manage Router can do

If you own a Liberty Shield VPN Router, the Manage Router section of your account is your control panel. Here’s everything you can do there yourself — no ticket needed.

  • Change server — pick a different server for a fresh IP or better speeds. Power-cycle the router afterwards.

  • Change connection type — servers come in different types (OpenVPN, L2TP, PPTP); L2TP often fixes European buffering.

  • Change your WiFi name or password — takes effect after a power cycle; reconnect your devices afterwards.

  • Check “Last Seen” — shows when your router last talked to us. A recent time means the router is online; an old one points to a cabling/power issue at home.

  • Replace or upgrade a router — use the “To Replace Your Router Click Here” option with the new serial number (never the new-customer activate page).

What Manage Router can't do

Router admin access isn’t provided — the router runs a locked configuration so the VPN can’t be broken accidentally. Anything not listed above, just ask support: we can make many changes remotely.

Screenshot needed: the Manage Router dashboard screen. VERIFY live UI labels against the current account area before publishing widely.

Remember the golden rule: after any change here, power the router off for 10 seconds and back on.
