Upgrading to a faster model, or received a replacement router? Existing customers should not use the activation page — there's a dedicated replacement flow that moves your subscription to the new router.

Log in to the Client Area at libertyshield.com.

Open Manage Router.

Click "To Replace Your Router Click Here".

Enter the serial number (S/N) printed on the sticker on the bottom of the new router.

Cable up the new router: yellow cable from the ISP LAN port to the new router's WAN port (next to the power lead), power it on, and wait a few minutes for it to download your configuration.
Note: Your VPN country, and in most cases your WiFi name and password, carry over. The old router stops working once the swap completes.
