Unlike Netflix, with Amazon Prime there are two specific requirements for access:
- You need to have an Amazon Prime account in the country you wish to access Prime Video content for. For example, if you wish to access Amazon UK Prime Video content then you need to have an Amazon UK Prime account (registered with UK credit card), you would not be able to access Amazon Spain Prime Video content unless you have an Amazon Spain Prime account (registered with a Spanish credit card).
- You would need to have internet connection IP address (achievable via Proxy or VPN) for the country that you wish to access content for.
If you have a UK Amazon Prime Video account and a Proxy, VPN or VPN Router from Liberty Shield (set to UK) then you will be able to access Amazon Prime Video content.
Please see our knowledgebase guide on how to change the country setting on your Liberty Shield VPN Router.
Amazon Prime Video is compatible with these countries on our Tier 2 VPN and Proxy network:
- UK
- Spain
- Ireland
- Switzerland
Unfortunately Amazon Prime Video will no longer load the localised regional versions for these countries, including those on our older legacy VPN and Proxy network:
- USA
- Germany
- Canada
- France
