If our Windows or Mac app won't install on your machine (workplace restrictions, unusual setups), you can connect using the free official OpenVPN clients and our configuration files instead.
What you need

Windows: OpenVPN GUI — free from openvpn.net (Community Downloads).

Mac: Tunnelblick — free from tunnelblick.net.

A Liberty Shield OVPN configuration file for the server you want — request one from support (or download from the client area).
Set up

Install the client for your system.

Double-click the .ovpn configuration file — the client imports it.

Connect, and enter your Liberty Shield username and password when prompted.
Note: Check you're connected at showmemyip.com — it should show the VPN country.
